Blushing Bird

I made a card! Actually finished one! This is the image I had colored the other day. I stamped it in Chocolate Chip and then colored with Prisma Pencils. The outline shading is blended with OMS the bird is straight colored and layered. I love that the pencils layer so nicely. I also used one of the new punches available in the mini catalog.

The layout is simple and I opted for soft colors. I have forgotten just how much I really like Blush Blossom.

Cardstock: Sahara Sand, Barely Banana, Blush Blossom, Chocolate Chip, Kraft
Stamp Set: Friends 24-7
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Versamark
Extras: Ribbon, punches, Prisma Pencils. OMS

Yeah So....

Once again could barely devote any time to card making the last few days. I did manage to get an image stamped and colored with my Prisma pencils but that's gonna have to wait for Friday. Today I am sharing the whole card from the close up the other day. It finally decided it would grace my computer with its presence. So here it is in all it's glitterific glory.

Is There A Way...

To put a test pattern up here?
I had wonderful intentions to get to some card making this weekend. But alas duty called. Grocery store, Toys R Us, Target, prep for the little ones first day of school (TODAY!!!!), prep for his birthday party, eating and sleeping.

So you'll just have to hang out with me another day and see what I've created.

Remember When...

Remember when I used to paper craft?
Remember when this blog was named after a new baby?
Remember when I used to have two kids that napped?

Well....
On occasion I still get time to craft.
The baby is turning two in a few days and starting preschool to be just like big brother.
I still have one who naps so I'm half lucky right?

Starting Monday my two boys will be at school and I will have a few free hours to fill Monday and Fridays. So you may actually be seeing some consistent posts from me again. I will be hitting the gym too so that will be some nice time for mom.

I am working on two projects over the next few days so I hope that the camera and lighting cooperate and I can share those with you next week. Until then, keep crafting!

Oh The Drama

I have a card made, all set to take a snap of and get on the blog. But as usual this week hings are taking twice as long and getting no where near done. I have been trying for almost two hours to get pictures from the camera to the computer. I've succeeded in getting one picture saved twice GRRRR. So let me so you that one at least.

I played with some Sizzlits to make this card. I used Beautiful Wings Embosslit from the new mini and Swirls Scribbles. The image is an acrylic stamp that I *think* is Inkadinkadoo. I went over some of the butterflies and the main image with Plaid Extreme Glitter Paint. WOW is that stuff FUN!

Cardstock: Old Olive, Bermuda Bay, Apricot Appeal, WW
Stamp Set: Inkadinkadoo?
Ink: Bermuda Bay
Extras: Sizzlits, Extreme Glitter paint

One Sheet Wonder

Here are my samples for an upcoming OSW class I'm teaching. I have to say it was a challenge for my to make so many cards along the same theme and color combination...though I do love Bermuda Bay with these colors.

I used a few sets to make the patterned sheet then sponged some Lumiere here and there to give it some texture and glimmer. The map I came up with gave me pieces for 12 cards. I tried to make them appropriate for men, women and kids to get the most out of it. I hope you like.

Cardstock: Bermuda Bay, Yoyo Yellow, Gable Green, BB, WW
Stamp Sets: Little Pieces, Priceless, Crazy For Cupcakes
Inks: Staz On black, Bermuda Bay, Yoyo Yellow, Gable Green, Real Red
Extras: Stickles, Lumiere, buttons, punches, Liquid Pearls
